National Contact Points of cross-border healthcare facilitate communication between the parties, ensure an adequate exchange of information and they closely cooperate with each other and with the European Commission. National Contact Points provide information, in accordance with the laws of the given Member State, on the terms of using healthcare, healthcare providers, patients’ rights, complaint procedures, legal remedies, and on legal and administrative opportunities.
PLEASE NOTE! The European Contact Points shall send their data to the European Commission until the end of term defined by the Directive. The Commission publishes the avalibility of the Contact Points after the implementation date. The list is continously being refreshed.
